The month began with lot of expectations of rains, but the rains delayed adding anxiety regarding water situation. The 15 to 20 minutes yield from the bore-well was preserved for drinking and kitchen use and used other sources for bath and toilets. Later the month brought some rains which recharged the bore-wells but

we are careful to use it.

Some parts of the state had more rains and by God’s grace, during the three months, we had rains every now and then. So the vegetables gardens survived and are able to provide part of the vegetables used in cooking. We have tomatoes, brinjal, long beans, green leaves, green chillies, cucumber, bitter guard and others. Cooking fresh vegetables from the garden is an excitement for us all.

Among the 10th class students, Susanna and Joanna had failed but a month’s intensive coaching at home proved successful as both of them passed the supplementary exams and could join intermediate course without loosing one academic year.

Betsica and Shirisha joined a General Nursing & Midwifery course and they are staying at the college hostel. Anusha commenced a degree in Social work at Roda Mistry college of Social Sciences. They all are doing well in studies. Now only 4 children are going to the St. Antony’s school at Langerhouse (17 kms from Moinabad) and the small Omni van is used for their transport.

In August, there was a harvest festival where the children had a special Kerala meal served in Banana leaf. Afterwards, they had sports & Games. Along with the ecclesia, our children made a visit to a Christian centre where they have made a life size tabernacle. We spent a day there. It was very informative.

Everybody is well by the grace of our Heavenly Father.

We thank the brotherhood for all the helps and prayers. In The service, Bro. Mathews.
